Portfolio
From paycheck-to-paycheck
to building a portfolio.
My journey wasn't a straight line. It was a series of lessons, failures, and wins that shaped who I am today. Every investment below taught me something valuable. Some were home runs. Others were hard lessons. But each one brought me closer to building a life where business and family work together, not against each other.
Acquire
I look for businesses with solid fundamentals that are undervalued or under-managed. The deal is only the beginning.
Operate
Systems, leadership, and culture. A business only runs without you if you build it that way from day one.
Grow
Once the foundation is solid, we scale. Revenue, team, footprint — but only when the systems can support it.
Chapter 1 — The First Deal
Where it all started.
Commercial Multifamily
Buffalo Ridge
My first commercial multifamily investment turn trial by fire. On paper the numbers made perfect sense. In reality, real estate doesn't always follow the script. This deal pushed me to my limits, sharpened my skills, and gave me an education no classroom could provide. It was exhausting and stressful, but without it I wouldn't be where I am today. Thankfully to some hard work and a good market, we did not lose money on this deal! Whew!

Chapter 2 — Scaling the Portfolio
Learning to play bigger.
Multifamily Syndication
RAND RiverPort
My first step into passive investing. A chance to truly understand what it meant to be on the other side of raising capital. I wanted to know firsthand how to treat investors the right way, and the best way to do that was to become one myself. Learning from mentors Jake & Gino gave me invaluable insight into the world of multifamily syndication.

Mobile Home Park
Royal Mobile Home Park
A true turnaround story. When we acquired Royal, the management was lacking, the park wasn't profitable, and the families living there deserved better. Our team overhauled operations, put the right management in place, and turned it into a thriving community. It was more than a financial investment; it was an opportunity to directly impact the lives of residents who called it home.

Mobile Home Park
Country Club Estates
An incredible investment with an amazing team. We came in with a solid business plan, strong financials, and a clear vision: rehab the property, increase NOI, and improve quality of life for residents. We added a playground, hosted resident events, and partnered with the local school across the street to build a real sense of community. COVID threw curveballs, but a strong team and strategy turned this into a big win for both investors and families.

Chapter 3 — Active Duty Passive Income
A mission bigger than a business.
Military Financial Education
Active Duty Passive Income (ADPI)
More than a business — a mission. ADPI was built to teach military members, veterans, and their families how to invest in real estate and create financial freedom. I joined the team in the early days, walking the then-small community through my commercial real estate journey to show fellow service members what was possible. While I'm no longer an owner, ADPI will forever be a huge part of my story and experience.

Chapter 4 — Diversifying With Purpose
Beyond real estate.
Short-Term Rental
Bradenton STR
A unique project — partnering with friends to buy a second home and turn it into an income-generating vacation rental. But more than that, it was a place where we could bring our families, host events, and teach our kids about business. It was wildly successful. So much so that we sold it when the right offer came along. My kids still talk about the memories we made there.

Game Over Escape Rooms and Arena X VR — Plant City
An immersive, high-energy entertainment venue where players step out of reality and into the arena. Combining escape rooms, interactive challenges, and competitive gameplay, Game Over turns teamwork, problem-solving, and adrenaline into unforgettable experiences. Taking over this company was a difficult task, but an exciting one where the entire family got engaged in the process.

Assisted Living / Memory Care
Smyrna Village Memory Care Community
This investment wasn't just about financial returns, it was about making a real difference. My business partner had watched her mother struggle with dementia and was passionate about creating a memory care facility where seniors could thrive, not just be housed. When we acquired Smyrna Village it was a place where people were simply sent to live out their final days. We transformed it into a community where residents are genuinely cared for, engaged, and valued.
